The Thorntail Iguana (Uracentron flaviceps) is an arboreal lizard, spending most of its time high in the rainforest canopy. This individual was spotted basking on a branch about 100 feet above the ground. (Photographed at the ACEER canopy walkway, near Iquitos, Peru.)
