IGUANA DRAWING BY GARRETT

iguana on branch drawing

return to gallery

What a great picture of an iguana! It's lying along a branch just like a real iguana and is basking in the sun, which iguanas do to stay warm. Garrett shows us its large claws which help it grip branches. Iguanas have stripes on the tail for camouflage and long spikes on their necks for... well, no-one really knows what they are for, decoration maybe. Garrett says, "I really like the Amazon." He and his friends are breeding animals and all the money they get is going to the rainforest. Way to go!
